Across many countries, there seems to be an abundance of students graduating from university, and not enough jobs for all the newly qualified young people. One country facing particular challenges with graduate job prospects is China, who has seen a rise in unemployment, especially amongst young people, as well as a growth in the number of graduates. This has created doubt, competition, and frustration amongst a lot of young students. This especially effects Chinese students who are studying overseas, as they are deprioritised in comparison with students who chose to study domestically.

This is not just an issue that is being faced in China, however, as these bleak prospects for graduates seems to be across numerous countries, including the UK. With each graduate job having over a hundred applicants, it is becoming increasingly frustrating for graduates globally.
